This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  Ma Anand Maria To Whom It May Concern: As a former student of education and psychology at the University of Munich and Cologne I feel the urge to express very strongly how much I am impressed by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh's exceptional and outstanding abilities and talents in science, art, psychology and education. His insight into any of these fields to me seems to be absolutely extraordinary. His understanding of MAN seems to be crystal clear. His vision is sharp, his intelligence is outrageous. Therefore - his ability to inspire other people. The energy in Rajneeshpuram, the energy field is stronger than anything I've ever experienced before. Although Bhagwan is not teaching and speaking any more his presence is affecting this place, is affecting the people around him more than ever. His silence seems to be an even much stronger inspiration than his words. I have always been interested in psychology, in Man's problems, conflicts, talents, abilities. I've always wanted to find out how to heal my own and other people's psychological wounds. In his presence, in his energyfield people seem to heal by themselves. Just being around him - His silence provokes people to live a healthy, harmonious, joyful life full of expression. Nowhere else in the world have I met so many extraordinary, intelligent, alive people. Their abilities to work, to be creative are outstanding. To me Bhagwan's presence, His silence is the most powerful catalytic agent in any area of science, art, psychology and therapy.
