Bhagwan’s presence in America and his influence around the world is as "the ray of hope" for life and love and laughter to prevail once again over the destructive and miserable chaos that man has created in the world, most predominantly over the last 30 years.

I was educated in England and Australia and finished formal schooling with a degree in Arts at the Institute of Technology in Sydney. From that time on I taught English to foreign migrants and helped research language learning in children and adults. As a disciple of Bhagwan’s, it has always felt like he is doing the work for me. The vitality and love for life and total experience that he awakens in his sannyasins is transferred to others, and I found my students approaching their language learning with the same vitality.

This approach to life and work is evident on the ranch; it can be seen in the relaxed yet powerhouse way that the ranch is growing and in the smiles that still show after ten hours of digging ditches..

There is no one other than Bhagwan inspiring so much that is positive and life-fulfilling in people and through people to the land, and through the land to other people and other lands .....

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ma Anand Parinita. It is "Exhibit A-2012" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Yours sincerely,
