This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  Ma Anand Regula Rickert To whom it may concern I have been visiting Rajneeshpuram, Oregon this year and last year. What is happening in Rajneeshpuram has amazed me again and again and has made me clearer and more happy. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is the first man as far as I know under whose guidance people are living and working together without repressing their true potential, with love and joy. For me Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is an extraordinary man and world famous. His methods of meditation are unique. He has done great research in Philosophy and Psychology. His teachings are a synthesis of the spiritual teachings of the Orient and modern psychological teachings of the West. We are at a point right now on earth, where we either will destroy ourselves through our aggression and power trips in wars or find amother way of living together out of joy and with a positive attitude towards life. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh offers new methods of how to bring people to their true potential. In my work as an artist in fine arts he helped me to understand what it means to be creative. His meditation techniques are a combination of music, movement and silence, and can be used for the creation of pictures, paintings also. His methods of meditation and the growth programs, as well as his example of another way of being have changed my life in a very positive way, in my personal life as well as in my work. Without his presence the commune members would not have been able to create such a paradise in this desert without having criminals, drug problems or violence in any way. Sitting with Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh in silence in meditation in Satsang just during the 6 days of the summer festival in Rajneeshpuram has given me new insights and more depth and strength, even more than the 3 months listening to him in the daily discourse in India 4 years ago. As there are so many of his discourses available now in books and video-tapes, it gives me still new insights to listen to them. I'm looking forward to being with Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh in his field of energy in next summer festival again. [signed] |
