I am an Italian citizen happily married to an American citizen. We met just because we both were disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and through the years the love we both share for our master is a perennial spring, feeding the love we feel for each other.

Although our home is in Texas we are presently visiting Rancho Rajneesh in order to take advantage of Bhagwan’s presence. I took sannyas in India when curiosity compelled me to visit Poona and that man who could gather so many different people with different backgrounds, traditions, languages, age, educational backgrounds.

Even at that time, I must say, though Bhagwan used to give a daily lecture I was touched more by the sense of miraculousness that flowed from him, rather than by the words he was saying, words that only now I begin to appreciate in their full originality and meaningfulness. This is what today brings me to seek his physical presence every time it is possible.

Now that he is in silence, nothing distracts me from sharing the miracle of his presence and this is for me the deepest teaching that I have ever experienced.

I bless the wonderful opportunity given to me to be born in this time, and I bless the wonderful country that hosts Bhagwan, and hopefully will continue to do so.

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ma Anando Emanuela. It is "Exhibit A-2298" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
