I am a professional dancer. I degreed in Holland at the Theater School of Amsterdam. I performed in several cities in Holland. I studied at the Cunningham Studio in New York City and performed there with several groups. Dance has always been my path. Something in the quality has changed two years ago when I became a disciple of Bhagwan. Before I used to have all this tension that comes with ambition and it would affect my whole life. I was tight and nervous a lot. Bhagwan has touched something inside of me that made my dance flourish and my life more of a dance; I am more light and relaxed. | |||
Everytime I visit Rajneeshpuram I realise again the energy of this place. It is alive, people are working with so much joy and the results are astonishing. And all this is because Bhagwan is here. Through him we become more awake, more loving to ourselves and others. What else is there? | |||
America has such a high level in sciences and arts and so many people are and will benefit from his being here. | |||

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society.
