MA DEVA SAMVEGA <br>
MIASTO RAJNEESH - 53010 FR0SINI (SI) ITALY

To whom it may concern :

To meet Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, to come closer to him and to become his disciple meant to choose a road that, by and by, is opening my heart and forgotten feelings and that leads towards loving and understanding life and the other living beings.

His silent presence is so wonderful, much more than his words, to be in silence and to feel his infinite love and compassion is a great gift.

I have been living in a commune of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh with other disciples since three years and we are reviving fields that had been abandoned for 20 years, houses with flowers and garments, and his presence can be felt in the peace and the silence of this place on top of a hill in Tuskany, Italy.

We work, but it is not work, it is worshiping life, nature, the Master, and before and after worshiping we sing a mantra to express our gratitude towards Bhagwan, towards the community nad the universe that allows us to contact him.

The joy and laughter of these last years with Bhagwan - I don't remember to have ever lived this before and I can’t imagine to do anything else than what I am doing.

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ma Deva Samvega. It is "Exhibit A-2564" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

MA DEVA SAMVEGA
