This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN August 7th 1983 I have been sannyasin since 1978, and I have been living near Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh for two years in Poona-India-. In 1980 I came back to Italy and I started to live and work in the Meditation Center of Milan: Vivek. This Center, like every Rajneesh Meditation Center in the world, is a Buddhafield. By this I mean a space where I daily experiment with many other people how work can become worship, and where people have the possibility to grow in a way of love, without competition and Jealousy, but in the honesty and truth of each action. When Bhagwan stopped to talk, in 1981, I started to experiment his teachings in a concret way and, through His silence, I felt the armony of the"ULTIMATE TRUTH", of what cannot be expressed by words, becouse, as any other Master of the Human story has said during the centuries, the "Ultimate Truth" the "Real Understanding" cannot be talked, but only felt. When I went to Oregon in July 1982 and 1983. I saw in Rajneeshpuram the first concret realization of a deep balance among man, nature and technology, and this has been possible only at the presence of Bhagwan and His religious teaching.
