I first heard about Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh from friends in December, 1981. Although I have never been very interested in Eastern phylosophy I began to read his books (The Psychology of the Esoteric, I am the Gate, The Mustard Seed). At the same time I began to do Kundalini Meditation, and my whole life began to take a different perspective.

In February I saw Bhagwan at a video-tape, and a few days later I asked for sannyas. I have always been been very pragmatic and never practiced any kind of religion, and Bhagwan showed me that there is more to like and man than the material world.

It is hard to explain the impact He had in my life. He gave me a greater understanding of my self as a person in this concrete world (the "market" as He call it), and as a being in the universe This in turned made me more aware of people's essence and changed dramatically my work.

Bhagwan's techniques of meditation are also very useful for people with a series of problems, and I recommed them to my clients, as well as His spiritual teachings.

It was a great honor to me, as well as a pleasure to be in Bhagwan’s Presence last year at Rajneeshpuram, Oregon, and I hope He stays in this Country, so I will be able to return at the end of the year.

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ma Dhyan Nishkamo (Rosana Glat). It is "Exhibit A-2069" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has 2 pages.

To whom it may concern:

If I can be of any help, please feel free to contact me.
