This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ma Indradhanu. It is "Exhibit A-1934" in the Noles collection.

To whom it may concern

I am a sannyasin since 4 years. I was working in the University Hospital in Berlin as an X-ray technologist and as an instructor for radiology for many years. I was more or less happy with my life, but one thing I always felt was missing, something that fills my whole being with joy.

I started studying Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh's books and listened to his tape discourses and my life became more and more joyful.

But since I live in Rajneeshpuram in his physical presence, where I can see him every day, I feel my life overflowing with joy and love. In Satsang sharing silence with him, I feel his love and energy surrounding me. I become very silent and joyful inside. Totally connected with existence in love with my Master.

Living in his presence gives my life the sense I was looking for so many years. It let me feel happy, joyful and thankful to existence and my Master, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. This country shouldn't miss the opportunity to have a Buddha of the 20th century living amongst us.

Love.
