This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society.  Ma Prema Bharti To whom it may concern. I would like you to know how much the mere presence of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh affects the work I am doing at Rajneeshpuram. Take the Festivals we have, for instance. We work harder than anyone could imagine was possible, yet when He passes by in His car I get such a hit of pure energy that I'm ready to go full strength all through the night if necessary. Even when He is not physically present His presence in our Buddhafield, just in His room, causes such inspiration and clarity that we are able to do extraordinary things. I have no background in really anything, yet I am able to be in charge of the whole packing operation for Rajneesh Foundation International and the mail room. All I have to do is to tune into Bhagwan and the necessary information pours into me. This may seem fantastic to you, and it is almost unbelievable to me, but it is truly so. Because of His silence, I have found a silent way to tune into Him and receive energy if needed, or the right information for my work. For instance, I received so much extra energy from this last festival that I have been able to work from 7.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day for the last month and a half. Without His physical presence the work would definitely slow down. Even though I may not have any special qualifications except what I have told you, I can say to you that this man is a genius, and His contribution cannot be measured. Love. |
