This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

To whom it may concern:

My life was happening between the office, the house, my children and my husband. Reading was my favorite distraction. One day in a supermarket I discovered a book with the title: Dynamic Meditation. I took it and read the name of the author Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. I bought it also not knowing him, because the cover was attracting me. At home I started reading the first pages and suddenly something happened to me, it was like the breaking of a damm. These words, these thoughts, this "man". The joy was immense. I laughed, cried, danzed, repeating to myself: I have found him, he has found me, finally.

This is the beginning. Now I am a sannyasin since two years. I took sannyas six months after buying His book. It was in 1981. The love between me and my master has changed my life. Every day my thoughts are with him.

The other marvellous thing which happened , was the moment I could see Bhagwan. After one year of being a sannyas I went to Rajneeshpuram. I was utterly excited. I had recognized him without seeing him and now that I could meet him?

When I saw him it was the same explosion I had the day I opened His book.
