This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

To whom it may concern

I, Mukesh Sarda, an insurance business man for the last 12 years in the city of Bombay, am a Commerce graduate with a degree in Business Management from the University of Bombay. I am a lover of music, arts, philosophy and literature.

In the fields of music, arts, philosophy and literature, in my life of 31 years, I have come across only one man who has exceptional abilities in all these subjects - Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. I was continuously listening to his public religious discourses from 1968 to 1974 in Bombay and 1974 to 1981 in Poona, and reading his religious books for the last 15 years. His vision in all these subjects, plus other subjects like psychology, religion, science, technology and natural environment, is outstanding. I think so at least as far as my knowledge. In this twentieth centure you cannot find such a man who has all this outstanding knowledge in all these subjects. He is so profound and original that he stands for me and others as a model of exceptional abilities.

I again repeat: Bhagawan Shree Rajneesh is the most outstanding man on this earth, of this age.
