SWAMI PRABHAKAR - MIASTO RAJNEESH NEO-SANNYAS COMMUNE - 53010 FROSINI (SI) ITALY

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN :

I am a disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh for five years and may say that this relationship with a living Enlightened Master has grown into the most important factor of my life.

It is not easy to describe how they happen, these subtle changes in my life, after the initiation through Bhagwan. They are not caused through ideology or teaching, it is more a fine transmission of His radiance, His humor and acceptance and His awareness, that happens while being in his presence and also while living in one of the communes created through his inspiration. The focus of all this happening is for sure Rajneeshpuram, the centre of His spiritual guidance and for me a place to go when a physical contact with Bhagwan is needed. But also here in Italy I find myself in a process, provocating more lightness, positiveness in life, more respect for my body, more care for my environment, more depth in what we may call the inner life of the soul - and I see the same and similar happening with the friends around me.

May be Bhagwan is starting a movement that already belongs to a better future of humanity and I feel a deep gratitude to be a little part of this great adventure.

This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Sw Prabhakar. It is "Exhibit A-2572" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.
