This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Sw Veet Nirado. It is "Exhibit A-1545" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

To Whom it may concern,

I have been managing businesses, for 12 years. I am now 33 years old.

My studies were business oriented and at the age of 19 I received a scholorship to study management. During my years in management I attended many business seminars and learned all the various management techniques.

Before I came in contact with Bhagwan I was managing for results. Since I started to read Bhagwan’s books in 1978 my way of managing on the top management level of a multinational company changed significantly. I became much more concerned about people’s needs, more understanding towards other people, introducing in the company a more humanistic approach.

Very soon that change happened throughout the various management levels. Employees became much more satisfied, happier, and the company had better results,

Bhagwan’s contribution to the science of Management is of an immense value. The whole business world could be greatly benefited by using Bhagwan’s approach.

Thanks to Bhagwan I became very creative in the field of management. Through meditation, Bhagwan made me aware that there was a possibility to communicate without words, that is silence.

Thanks to him a desert is being turned into an oasis, a unique place is created in Rajneeshpuram, attracting every year thousands of people from all over the world, drawing significant funds to the U.S.A. and benefiting the whole economy.
