Eight years after a ‘benign apocalypse’ when three quarters of the world’s population vanished, those remaining have found themselves dealing with a universe that is perpetually in flux: structures alter, destinations become nebulous, many people shapeshift, and creatures of myth are abundant, they could even be your neighbours.

Detective Dominic Little, himself a shifter, is part of an international Truth and Reconciliation task force seeking to clear up the most atrocious crimes committed pre-Flux as the world attempts a fresh start. His particular department focuses on past mysteries of vanishing aircraft, but he himself may be the greatest mystery of all.
