Rajneesh Purvodaya Ashram, Margarethenried
The previous incarnations of Rajneeshstadt and today's OshoStadt.
This was the first commune founded by Sw Anand Siddhartha in 1975. When the number of sannyasins and the resident Sannyas Verlag outgrew their premises, Siddhartha purchased Schloß Wolfsbrunnen in Meinhard, Hessen in 1982.
Purvodaya Ashram ended in 1984 (according to Die Bhagwan-Kommune in Margarethenried (2020)).
