"अगर तुम जिंदगी से पूछो--पत्थरों से, पौधों से, आदमियों से, आकाश से, तारों से--तो सब तरफ से उत्तर मिलेंगे। लेकिन तुम पूछो ही नहीं, तो उत्तरों की वर्षा नहीं होती, ज्ञान कहीं बरसता नहीं किसी के ऊपर। उसे तो लाना पड़ता है, उसे तो खोजना पड़ता है। और खोजने के लिए सबसे बड़ी जो बात है वह हृदय के द्वार खुले हुए होने चाहिए। वे बंद नहीं होने चाहिए। दुनिया की तरफ से दरवाजे बंद नहीं होने चाहिए, बिलकुल खुला हुआ मन होना चाहिए। और जो भी आए चारों तरफ से, निरंतर सजग रूप से, होशपूर्वक उसे समझने, सोचने और विचारने की दृष्टि बनी रहनी चाहिए।" —ओशो
