Letter written on 12 Nov 1962

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parekh. It was written on 12th November 1962. Above the date, Osho notes that it is purnima, full moon.

The letterhead reads (in Devanagari):

Acharya Rajneesh [in a large, messy font to the right of and above the rest below]

Osho's salutation in this letter is a fairly typical "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom. There are a couple of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters: a black tick mark in the upper right corner and a mirror-image number in the bottom right corner. There are actually two numbers there, an unreadable one crossed out and replaced by 148.

The letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) (2002 Diamond edition, p 173). We are awaiting a transcription and translation.
