Letter written on 18 Aug 1963 pm
This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parekh. It was written in the evening of 18th August 1963, from Indore. The letterhead has "Acharya Rajneesh" in a large, messy font to the left of and oriented 90º the rest, which reads:
- 115, Napier Town
- Jabalpur (M.P.)
Osho's salutation in this letter is "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom or Mother. Of the hand-written marks seen in other letters, a black tick mark is seen up top, and bottom right has a faint mirror-image number, 197. Osho's experiments with coloured inks seen in some other recent letters continue with this one; it is mostly black, but has one sentence in red for emphasis. Some writing is showing through from the back side, but we have no direct image of it.
The letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) on p 237-238. We are awaiting a transcription and translation.
