Letter written on 30 Jan 1961 om

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parekh. It was written on 30th January 1961 in the afternoon, on his personal letterhead stationery of the day: The top left corner reads: Rajneesh / Darshan Vibhag (Philosophy Dept) / Mahakoshal Mahavidhalaya (Mahakoshal University). The top right reads: Nivas (Home) / Yogesh Bhavan, Napiertown / Jabalpur (M.P.). Many of his letters on this letterhead have had the number 115 added in by hand before "Yogesh Bhavan" to complete his address, but not this one.

This letter has none of the marks and numbers that have been found in some other letters, nor is there any kind of salutation, only "पुनश्च", punashch, or PS. Like the previous letter, the letterhead has been printed on paper with a watermark, "JUPITER BOND". The date is written at the top, with "दोपहर", dopahar, mid-day or afternoon.
