- Osho's three series of Mahaveer Vani discourses were given at Patkar Hall in Mumbai, in three successive years in the early 70's, at the time of Paryushan, a big annual Jain festival. These discourses were apparently published as three 18-chapter books in 1976 and 1977.
- In 1988, they were re-grouped into two volumes of 27 discourses each, and seem to have kept to that format ever since. This volume is the second of those 27-packs, and contains the last nine talks of Mahaveer Vani, Bhag 2 (महावीर वाणी, भाग 2), given Sep 13-21, 1972 plus all 18 of Mahaveer Vani, Bhag 3 (महावीर वाणी, भाग 3), given Aug 25 to Sep 11, 1973.
