Talk:Acharya Rajneesh: Samanvaya, Vishleshan Tatha Samsiddhi (आचार्य रजनीश: समन्वय, विश्लेषण तथा संसिद्धि)

Title translates roughly as Acharya Rajneesh: Overview, Analysis and Synthesis. Many sites, including the publisher's site, have the title as simply Acharya Rajneesh, with the rest as subtitle. It can be seen that "Tatha" (तथा) is not found in the title in the cover image, which reads only Acharya Rajneesh Samanvaya Vishleshan Samsiddhi. But enough sites, including the publisher's, have inserted this word into the (sub-)title to make it more or less valid.

Tatha just means "and", so not much of a big deal. We can also find references on the net to Acharya Rajneesh: Samanvaya, Vishleshan aur Samsiddhi, including in a footnote to the author's English version, Rajneesh: The Mystic of Feeling, found by G**gle Books. "Aur" of course also just means "and". This footnote also gives the pub date of 1969, as does Neeten in his Osho Source Book (References section).

The 2004 edition seems to be unchanged from the earlier one, except in acquiring an ISBN. An ISBN search seems to be the only way to find a cover image and a lot of the above info.

About the translation into English, Neeten says in his Jabalpur section, "The 1969-edition is allegedly an earlier title than the one edited and translated into English 1970 (Prasad 1978), and this first Hindi edition is said never to have been translated in its original version". Perhaps just a re-working of similar and/or related material? What the relationship between Prasad's two books precisely is, is not entirely clear, it seems. -- updated doofus-9 16:01, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
