About "Capo X," capo is a tool that extends across the guitar neck to raise the pitch of all the strings to any desired level. It does this by making the vibrating portion of the strings shorter and thereby enables the guitar player to play simpler chords for any key. Specifying "Capo X" for any song means to put the capo at fret X and the pitch is thus raised X semitones. Sarlo (talk) 09:02, 2 June 2013 (PDT)

About "P" and "C," C could be indicating that the song is in the key of C, or C major. That song IS in fact in that key, but it is unnecessary to indicate this, and since it is done for so few songs, that may not be what it means. The meaning of "P" is a complete mystery to me.
