I don't know him directly but a) Sw Robert IS the RAM guy, those dots can be connected, and b) a close friend knew him as very kind and helpful back in Pune One, so i took his acknowledgement of past abuses and errors to be adequate. The opposite impression given by the article you linked to under "see also" is pretty convincing though, so i leave any further disposition of the page to you. Delete it or add to it as you see fit.
