Tantra Yoga, according to the groups timeline chart in The Sound of Running Water, was offered from Oct 1977 to Mar 1978, and may well have lasted longer than that, as Mar 1978 was TSORW's cut-off date.

Found in the Darshan Diary Only Losers Can Win in This Game was the following snippet, which perhaps gives the flavour of the group, at least at its beginning. The Tantra Yoga group's leader, and apparently its creator, had taken sannyas just ten days before, as Ma Prem Jwala. As she was an experienced groupleader, Osho encouraged her to start a group in the ashram, after maybe doing a few other groups. Ten days later ...

[Bhagwan [...] turns to address jwala, here with the first sannyasins to pass through her group, called tantra yoga. He asks her how the group was.]

JWALA I read the tao tantra a few days ago and after I read it I felt what I offered to the people was a lot of ritual. I like that, and I feel that people in the west need to know more about rituals. I feel confused as to what I’m doing with the group....
BHAGWAN: Mm mm.
JWALA It’s got structure and you told me to use less structure, so I didn’t write out the plan and I went and many beautiful things happened. I asked sahajananda to be assisting and that worked well.
Very good. He is here?
JWALA Yes.
Mm, sahajananda, anything to say about the group?
SAHAJANANDA (from the back of the group) Swaha! [It means hallelujah.]
Very good! Good! [to jwala] And you had been doing the work before more structured and more ritualistic? [she nods a yes] And this one was not that much?
JWALA Not that much.
And which one do you prefer now?
JWALA Being in the middle... a compromise. I would like to have some of the ritual in it. I see it’s effective in just giving people an idea of creative imagination.
Mm mm. My feeling is that you let it be completely structured. Not half way, then it will miss both the beauties. Let it be completely structured and with rituals, because we have another group, tantra, which is completely spontaneous. So there is no need to create another spontaneous group.
That’s why I have called it tantra yoga; yoga means technique. It means method, ritual. The other one I simply call tantra; it has no ritual, no method. First people should pass through tantra yoga and then they will do the tantra. So don’t make a compromise. Simply make it planned, programmed, and go accordingly, mm?
JWALA Yes.
Good, jwala... good!
