The author is a friend of Osho and academic from Jabalpur. The book is a translation of his Hindi book of the year before, Acharya Rajneesh: Samanvaya, Vishleshan Tatha Samsiddhi (आचार्य रजनीश: समन्वय, विश्लेषण तथा संसिद्धि), and is possibly the earliest book about Osho in English.
