Incorporating the work of the western therapists Reich, Lowen and Pietrakos [sic], the group uses exercises, breathing and un-structured activities to open the flow of the life force in the body.
According to the groups timeline chart in The Sound of Running Water, Bio-Energetics was offered from Jan to Nov 1977.
Lowen and Pierrakos were both disciples of Wilhelm Reich who created their own branches of his work. See also Anatta, a group based on a different branch of Reich's work.
