At the end of Jain's 'Paryushan Parv' of 8 days 'Kshama Vani' and 'Samvatsari Parv' are celebrated. On this day forgiveness (kshama) is sought from all for the possible mistakes / harms might be done to each other. This festival was on 15th Sep as per 1961 calendar. In PS of this letter written after above festival, Osho writes to Ma: "received 'Kshama-Vani' letters from you and Parakhji. I will disappoint only - don't even remember for what to forgive? And why do I seek - that too is not understood (because in asking there is a blame, in case you have angered!). Well it's ok you sent (kshama-vani) - I am not going to send anything."
