Talk:Main Mrityu Sikhata Hun (मैं मृत्यु सिखाता हूं)

The text-TOC below is that of the 2012 OMI edition, which matches those of the Osho World and osho.com audiobook offerings. (That edition btw may not have been 2001, since i don't believe OMI existed that early. Perhaps 2001 applies to the other Rebel edition shown above.)

In any case, this TOC does not correspond well to that of And Now, And Here (15 talks), so either chapter orders are different or liberties have been taken with translating their titles. In particular, "I Teach Death" is the title of ch 7 in the English book and ch 9 here. No other correspondence could be seen among other chapter titles in any order, using G**gle translator, admittedly not very intuitive or flowing. Caveat emptor! -- Sarlo (talk) 10:48, 15 September 2014 (PDT)

Now with the scans of the hard copy TOC added, it can be seen that title correspondence between the text-TOC above and the scans from the 2003 is also excellent. An intriguing element of the hard copy is the old images accompanying the TOC. The one with Vivek is not from that time exactly, as she did not arrive until April 1971 ... but still of the general era, and conveys well the unknown seeker coming for Osho's blessings, swept up in one of the great moments of his life. This kind of picture has disappeared from OIF's English publications but apparently are still okay for Hindi, or were in 2003.

About the "alt cover image", it can be seen to match the one currently in use perfectly, except for the yellow lettering of the title compared to the dark lettering in 2003. As that yellow-lettering cover did not have full data associated with it, only the same ISBN, it was put out to pasture. -- doofus-9 04:53, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

1998 pub info

Another set of scans has popped into existence for Mrityu Sikhata from 1998. It seems unnecessary to bloat the article page with more very similar info, so just the pub info page is presented here. Differences noted between this and the 2003 are: a slight change of typing credits, printer credits go to Thomson Press (India) Limited of New Delhi, date is March 1998, and it is the third special deluxe edition rather than the seventh. The cover and contents pages seem identical. -- doofus-9 06:13, 1 September 2017 (UTC)

The List "Hindi-Full Circle" (provided by Shailendra) stated that there are two 'editions' of Main Mrityu Sikhata Hun: a) a combined edition of the 6 booklets; b) ch.1 - compilation, which later published as Mrityu: Sabse Bada Jhooth (मृत्यु : सबसे बड़ा झूठ).--DhyanAntar 06:32, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

And another list "Hindi-Diamond" from Shailendra indicates on existing an edition before 1992 of Diamond.--DhyanAntar 07:28, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

All known editions should be presented on main page, Sarlo. I will put 1998 edition there.--DhyanAntar 06:02, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
