If I Ran India...

Date of publication : Oct 8, 1989
Volume :
Issue / no. :
Edition notes :
This issue features Osho's answers to Pritish Nandy's questions. (see Discussion)
Anuragi, who supplied the images of this issue, adds that Neelam wrote him to say:
"Pritish Nandy wrote down questions. Me and Satya Vedant went into His art room, next to his bedroom where he was living in those months. And Osho spoke for almost two hours. This was in Sept. 1989. Osho was not well. Not speaking in Buddha hall. Did not want to meet Pritish. Was ready to speak for just two of us present".
And she added that Amrito was also present, he recorded this discourse.
These words of Osho's may be the last words he uttered for public consumption. It was a sort of journalistic coup for Pritish Nandy although he did not actually get to meet Osho. It was also an opportunity for Osho to spell out his vision for the country in one mature grand fashion which was widely distributed.
