Ma Anand Savita
(Judith Brandt)
Savita is a psychoanalytic therapist by profession, and has been an Osho sannyasin for 38 years and has lived in all of Osho's communes, both in India and the US.
She trained as a therapist in London, with both the British Institute of Psychoanalysis and the well-known dissident 'anti-psychiatrist' of the 1970s and '80s, R.D. Laing – and ran her own private practice in that city.
In Pune, she was one of Osho's 12 personal energy mediums, while also living and working in his house as contributing editor on the Darshan Diaries. She was also the editor-compiler of the book At the Feet of the Master and for years was a regular writer and columnist for the Osho Times International magazine. And in 2014, her book (links below) of collected anecdotes of sannyasins' encounters with Osho is coming out.
She has also written, directed and acted in theatrical productions both in the UK and in India.
