This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written in the evening of 2nd September 1961.
The letterhead has a simple "रजनीश" (Rajneesh) in the top left area, in a heavy but florid font, and "115, Napier Town, Jabalpur (M.P.) in the top right, in a lighter but still somewhat florid font.
Osho's salutation in this letter is "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom. It has a few of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters: a blue number (19) in a circle in the top right corner and a red tick mark. It also has the new variation on a previous theme first noted in Letter written on 5 Sep 1961 pm: a black non-mirrored "44", 44 fitting nicely with other recent numbers. AND, rather than replacing the former style, a pale blue mirror-image number or mystery mark, it comes in addition to a "44" in that style.
 रजनीश रात्रि: मां, मैं एक मिलिटरी केंद्र में बोलकर लौट रहा हूँ। मिलिटरी-गाड़ी की खुली खिडकियों से पानी की फुहार भीतर आ रही है। मैं बाहर देख रहा हूँ और फिर देखना दोहरा हो जाता है। मैं बाहर भी देख रहा हूँ और वह भी दीख रहा है जो देख रहा है। एक अवर्णनीय शांति भीतर पकड़ लेती है। चेतना अपने केन्द्र को पालेती है। शरीर की खिडकियों के जो बाहर आता है : उसका सम्यक स्मरण ही समाधि है। इस केन्द्र का स्मरण ही आंतरिक क्रांति ले आता है। तब हम पाते हैं कि जो पाता हैं वह सदा से उपलब्ध है। उसे एक क्षण भी खोया नहीं गया है। कुछ भी कमी नहीं है : कोई अपूर्णता नहीं है : कोई बंधन नहीं है। चेतना नित्य मुक्त है। यह जान लेना ही मुक्त होजाना है। मोक्ष में कुछ पाया नहीं जाता है केवल “हम मुक्त हैं” यह भ्रांत दृष्टि ही खोनी पड़ती है। हम जो है वह हो जाना ही मोक्ष है। रजनीश के प्रणाम पुनश्च: |
