Osho's Hindi books contain a substantial amount of duplicated material which has arisen over the years, by being gathered (compiled) in one book and then in others, in some cases under three or four titles, as publishing needs, strategies and fashions have changed. This has happened more to his talks given before he moved to Mumbai in 1970 than to talks of other eras.

Osho's brother Shailendra has supplied a document which attempts to track these shifting chapters. It is a labour of love that has taken many years, and he has kindly offered the results to Sannyas Wiki.

As it is entirely in Hindi, the wiki's editors have undertaken to create an English version here, to make it more accessible to non-Hindi speakers. The Hindi original will also be posted after some processing. The version here may take a good while to complete, and indeed, Shailendra's version is also not yet complete.

He says that recent re-organizations of such material by OIF's publishing arm OMI have aimed to restore a natural order to these shifts and create a final "resting place" for these wandering chapters, aside of course from the inevitable thematic compilations.

Whole books gone?

To start with, the following titles will not be published any more, as their contents are compiled somewhere else, or their titles are changed:
